La Esquina del Lago Jungle River Lodge ( The corner of the lake ) is located in National Reserve of Los Guatuzos on a 20 acres property.. Lodge is in front of town of San Carlos and itīs facilities but in peace and natural beauty of National Park ( 5 mn away with our free boat Shutle service)
Location of lodge is very convenient as at center of the entire Rio San Juan area In a National Park precisely at the corner of Great Nicaragua Lake with Rio San Juan and Rio Frio (These three water front are the natural water limits of Property )

How to reach lodge at San Carlos Rio San Juan...
From Managua NicaraguaOption 1
Transfer by Airplane COSTENA AIRLINE at Managua International Airport Direct flight to San Carlos 2 DAYS A WEEK ON THURSDAY AND SUNDAY last 55 Minutes
Option 2
New road to San Carlos.... Road is now very very good, trip is nice and Interesting through Tipitapa, Boaco Tuyalpa Acoyapa
Public bus ( Several Service a day ) last 6 to 7 HoursPrivate Driver from Managua or Granada... 4 hours
From Granada
Go to Managua (1 Hour ride ) then Transfer by Airplane to San Carlos
From Omotepe* With Ferry on monday night or Thursday night ..Ferry arrive in San Carlos around 5 am
* With Costena Airline Flight are 2 times a week on Thursday and Sunday
From Costa Rica (San Jose, Guanacaste, Liberia, Arenal...)
Best is to first reach Border town of Los chiles* It can be by Public bus there are many services every day..it last 5 Hours from San Jose
* You can use my Private transfer with car Range Rover or Van...In such a case we will pick you up at your Hotel or Airport any where in Costa Rica
Once in Los chiles you will enter Nicaragua by boat going to San Carlos
BY public BOAT You will enter Nicaragua using Public boat via Rio Frio... Trip is beautiful and last 1hours. We will meet you on Arrival in Nicaragua at Imigration Office of San Carlos. There are 3 Services a day.. Careful timing is not acurate... More or less first boat goes from Los chiles between 12.30 and 1pm Then around 3 pm... 4 pm...

We operate an area witch include the border towns of Los Chiles Costa Rica Rio Frio, San Carlos, Nicaragua Lake, San Miguelito, Cardenas, Solentiname Archipelago , El Castillo , we go all the way down river ( 120 miles ) to San Juan del Norte on the Nicaragua Caribbean coast.
We are perfectly trained and organise for trip to the reserves and National Park

Rio San Juan start at the southern end of great lake.. Precisely where my lodge is located. It is 220km long.
Nicaragua lake is the biggest lake in Central America 200km long x 130km wide
